Job Description

As a Product Developer with our client, you will have a unique holistic role where you follow the product from the initial theoretical calculations to final installation in production. You will be part of a cross-functional team with experts in mechanics, electronics, and software. A central part of the role involves focusing on strength calculations. Since the systems consist of large, movable steel structures and conveyor systems that are often ceiling-mounted, high technical precision is required to ensure safety and operational reliability. Responsibilities

• Calculation & Analysis: Perform strength calculations on beams, hangers, and heavy mechanical structures in steel and aluminum.
• 3D-CAD Design: Develop and design new modules and further develop existing systems in Autodesk Inventor.
• Prototype Development & Testing: Work practically in the company's own lab to build prototypes and verify your designs through testing.
• Product Care: Responsible for optimizing material choices, managing replacement components, and ensuring compliance with machine safety requirements.
• Documentation: Preparation of production documents and technical documentation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a "practical engineer" – you are driven as much by theoretical problem-solving as by seeing the result in physical form.

• You are a civil or mechanical engineer or have equivalent work experience.
• You have good experience in mechanical design and feel comfortable with strength calculations.
• You have a good understanding of material properties in steel, aluminum, and plastic/sheet metal.
• Experience with 3D-CAD (preferably Inventor) is a requirement.
• You are unpretentious, proactive, and enjoy taking significant responsibility for your projects.
• You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.
